Youth and Children    By Julie King Youth group meets the first and third Sunday of each month for ages 6-17 yrs of age and is a time to gather for fellowship, to explore their faith at a deeper level and in a Christian community. Events may include: ski trips, acolyte festivals, bowling tournaments, pool parties, camping, trips and community outreach. Worship Our youth may serve as acolytes, ushers, or participate in the youth choir. When children serve in these ways, they gain a better understanding of Episcopal liturgy as well as more ownership of our church. Sunday School Sunday School is offered all year for ages 5-18 yrs of age. All Sunday School teachers are trained with the Episcopal Church’s Safeguarding God’s Children curriculum. Children learn together in the following groups: Kindergarten-grade 3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-12. Nursery Nursery is available to provide a safe, welcoming place for children who are too young for church or for the entire length of the service. We provide Christian stories, games and crafts for our young children.
