It began as a project of the 150th Anniversary Celebration Committee when the Vestry commissioned Lucy Ann Glover to write a history of the church. It turned into a major undertaking, involving the collective efforts of many long-time members and former members scattered throughout the country.
Old photographs and many new ones supplied by Patsy Perhala, Hans Westermark, and Robert Winston add important and interesting documentation.
Not a dry compilation of facts and figures, the narrative attempts to capture the tone and activity of the parish within the context of a changing Wilmington and a changing church.
