Welcome to St. Paul's Episcopal Church!
Founded in 1858, Saint Paul's Episcopal Church of Wilmington, North
Carolina, is conveniently located at the intersection of Market and 16th
Street in a splendid gothic-revival sanctuary with two magnificent pipe
organs. Our worship strive to provide Choral Eucharist of the highest
standards along with theologically-based lectionary preaching.
Intellectually open-minded and flexible, the Church provides for a
variety of services, programs, and education all in keeping within the
historic teachings and custom of the Anglican Tradition.

The year 2008 is an
important year for St. Paul's. This year we are celebrating
one-hundred fifty years of serving Our Lord Jesus Christ in this
community. As in most churches, there have been changes over the
years, including a move from Orange Street to our present location at
the corner of Market and 16th Streets. The congregation has also
grown and changed, as has the worship space. One thing has not
changed, however, and that is our dedication to Jesus and our desire to
be a beacon of the Christian Faith in our community.
We worship in the
Episcopal tradition, with wonderful liturgy and beautiful music, all for
the purpose of ministering to those who wish to know and follow Christ
and become his disciples. Only God knows what our next one-hundred
fifty years will bring, but we know that we will be blessed if we focus
on our goal of helping to reconcile all people to God and with each
other through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Join us on our
journey into the future.
